Abstract

Restaurants in Manado city is currently growing rapidly, this is due to the growth of
business centers. But this is not followed by marketing activities internally. No  research results have been found on internal marketing therefore this paper aims to explore internal marketing activities at restaurants in Manado City. This research use qualitative method with purposive sampling technique that is with a number of 5 manager / owner selected to get information about internal marketing implementation at restaurant exist in Manado City. The results show that internal marketing has been applied or used in restaurants in Manado City, but its application is informal. It is also found there is relationship or interrelated relationship between internal marketing dimension. This research is done by qualitative method, so the future can also be done by using quantitative method so that exploration of internal marketing application become more complete. Besides, it is necessary to dig also the application in other institutions around Tourism. Corporate managers who implement internal marketing programs try to meet the building of communication channels and responsive to the needs of kartawan so that performance is expected to be better to support the achievement of corporate goals.
