Rancang Bangun dan Analisa Kerja Forward Switching Mode Power Supply
Abstract
Power supply is a very important tool in the field of ektronika because power supply is like a human heart to supply energy throughout the body. Generally the power supply has two kinds of power supply liner using step down transformer and SMPS (switching mode power supply) using ferrite transformer. For linear power still lack of power efficiency generated step down transformer still have
high power loss. While for power enfisensi with SMPS circuit using ferrite transformer generally have high efficiency. In a switching power supply there are three basic SMPS topologies: fly-back, forward and rensonan-converter, and generally the most commonly used SMPS topology is the fly-back but for the
efficiency of the xforward topology more efficiently than the fly-back. To know how the SMPS of forward topology works by changing the value of frequency and duty cycle. In making this F-SMPS tool use transformer design at 30Khz. Based on the test, the change of 25-10KHz frequency value does not affect much the output voltage while the duty cycle change of 0-45% affects the output voltage of 3.81 V - 17.12 V DC. With the transformer design, the F-SMPS can produce 72% -95% efficiency on certain frequency and duty cycle. And the appearance of the box design itself has a test point to find out the workings of the F-SMPS.
