Abstract

High quality soybean seeds are one of the essential elements in an effort to improve the production of a crop. Seed procurement is often done a while before the growing season so that seeds must be stored at temperature 20°C. Thus it will have high growing power when it is planted. Temperature control and monitoring where the soybean seeds are kept can be done with android cell phones based. Seeds storage temperature that arranged at 20°C will be monitored by the sensors DHT11 to be converted in digital form by microcontroller AVR ATmega 16u2 in Arduino UNO . Temperature
information is sent over the internet to be showed on cell phone. If the temperature is under or more than 20°C , the android application will send signal information or input signal of character to
microcontroller through the ISP network using a modem. Signal information will be translated by arduino UNO and the input results of the android application will trigger air conditioner remote to raise or lower the temperature. Temperature control and monitoring prototype can be used to keep seeds room storage temperature remains constant at 20°C.
