Indonesian Language Instruction Control System for Multimedia Player Control Based on Raspberry Pi Embedded System

Abstract

 The introduction of speech known as Automatic Speech Recognizer (ASR) is one of Human
Computer Interaction (HCI) in its interaction with the machine that is by pronouncing a word through
microphone as input equipment and the system will convert spoken word into text as output. In this research
that will be used as research object in outline there are 2 types of indonesian language as a tool for control
and use of embedded system Raspberry pi as CPU in system. Automatic Speech Recognizier is built using
a Sphinx CMU machine with English modified into Indonesian database and KODI is used as a multimedia
player application. The type of command word as keyword used in this research is Select, Back, Right, Left
(Left), Up (Up), Down (Down), Main (Home). This experiment uses 10 volunteer test items based on 7
commands. Based on the clarification percentage table, it can be seen the percentage of success of each
command. Accuracy results obtained in accordance with Recognition Rate (RR) is obtained at 100% for
men with for all types of command except the left by 40% while for the female voice command value 100%
is lower, right, select while for the most percentage value low by 70% for command. Another factor that
causes this problem is also due to the accoustic model used is less than perfect because it still uses the
database owned by CMU Sphinx which is average based on English grammar.
