Game Edukasi Matematika KPK dan FPB Memanfaatkan Sensor Accelerometer Berbasis Android

Abstract

Lowest Common Multiple (LCM) and Highest Common Factor (HCF) are subjects of
mathematics for 4th grade elementary school. Many students found difficulty to solve the LCM and HCF
questions. This problems is caused by the lack of student understanding of LCM and HCP concepts due to
the weakness of teaching method and it was not yet supported by software technology. This paper
explains the development of LCM and HCF Android mobile game called Matapel using accelerometer
sensor. The research method involves gathering the LCF and HCF materials, design, game assets
management and coding, conversion to .apk format, installation and testing to android device, user
testing, and uploading to Google Play. This Game was tested using black box and user satisfying testing
with questionnaire. The results show that Matapel could work successfully on three different android
devices. Based on the user survey, the user satisfaction rate is 86.3% of student and 82.0% of teacher.
This game is also can practice the motoric sensor of student by shaking the device to choose the answer
of each question.
