Abstract

Hydroponic is a soilless cultivation. Nutrient Film Technique hydroponic model  is one of
hydroponic technique often used by people. Hydroponic uses nutrient solution consist of two variables
pH and Electrical Conductivity (EC). pH value must be constant to keep root plant absorb nutrient
optimally. EC is used to measure salinity in the nutrient solution. Besides pH and EC, nutrient solution
temperature hold important role in plant growth. Root plant can absorb when it submerged in 20-25°C
nutrient solution for 12 hours. This research aims to build and examine prototype of pH, EC, nutrient
solution and greenhouse temperature based on web. Prototype method is used in this research. This
method consists of communication, planning, modelling, construction and implementation. Result shows
that monitoring system has 33% data loss during 12 hours.
