Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Pengenalan Warna Objek bagi Penyandang Buta Warna Berbasis Web

Color-blind is a disturbance that effect on some colors. At least, there are two kind of color-blind: total
color-blind and partial color-blind. Someone can be diagnosed as a colorblind is by doing some
colorblind test that nowadays has been a requirement on some companies when they look for workers, so
people that have abnormalities with their visual ability will be some consideration for the companies.
Considering the data above, so the research needs to be done about application design to facilitate a
color-blind person to read colors around as what kind of colorblind they have. This application that base
on the internet can be access via smartphone/laptop using internet connection. First, this application will
detect what kind of color-blind and how many percent that we have. After detect the kind and percentage
of the color-blind, user can upload or take pictures with smartphone/PC camera to the application for
being proceed so the color object can be seen more vividly by user. The changing color process is using
CSS filter to convert the color that cannot be identified by user to the color that can be identified. The test
that we did to five color-blind person that have a different kind of color-blind five times each person is
produce results that suit the person themselves. Also, the object test results that have been uploaded show
a different effect on the object. This application is giving good effect for a color-blind person so they can
see some object with more detail and many colors.
