Pengaturan Kecepatan Motor Induksi Tiga Fasa dengan Perubahan Tegangan dan Frekuensi Berbasis Smartphone Android
Abstract
The use of three phase induction motor is widely used for large and small industry. Induction
motor speed can be adjusted by changing the voltage and frequency of the source. Operation speed
induction motors are generally manually and using cables. In facilitating the operation of induction
motor speed, we need a device to control the speed of induction motors on remotely and wirelessly.
This paper presents The purpose of this research is to design a device that can control the speed of 3phase
induction motor squirrel cage type remotely using supply voltage and frequency changes. To
adjust the speed of the motor from a distance it takes an android smartphone with bluetooth, which is
a wireless communication that provides data exchange services. 3-phase induction motor speed
controller is done by regulating the voltage value and frequency source using buck converter and the
inverter. Buck converter circuit is used to set the value of the voltage by changing the duty cycle value
while the inverter circuit is used to set the value of the trigger frequency by using SPWM (Sinusoidal
Pulse Width Modulation). Dynamic braking method is required. The test results show that of motor
speed testing, it can be controlled up to 15 meters distance, where the speed will be faster when the
source voltage and frequency values increased. Conversely, when the value of the voltage and
frequency are decreased so the motor speed will decrease. This tool can adjust 287 Volt of DC
Voltage and a buck converter will set the duty cycle value between 0.2 to 1 with an increase of 0.2
while the inverter adjust the frequency from 40 Hz to 55 Hz to 5 Hz increase.
