Sistem Cerdas Penyortir Apel Berdasarkan Warna dan Ukuran Berbasis Mikrokontroler Arduino

Abstract

Batu city is known as the center of apple production. From the data of Batu Agriculture
Departement, apple productivity reach 150 tons every month. In order to increase the
economic value, the apples must be sorted with the same color and size. The sorting process
is very important to decide delivery destination, like global market, supermarket, or
traditional market. This sortation problem can be solve with build some system that can
work automatically, effectivelly, and efficiently. The system designed using TCS3200 as a
color indicator and LDR as a size indicator. The control process of this sortation system is
using arduino uno microcontroller. Main actuator is using 2 DC motor with 12 Volt supply
that will sort beetwen red apples, small green apples, and large green apples. The red apples
designed sorted with the same size only, because for the delivery destination is preferably
the green apples. In the test result obtained the success average value is 90% for the red
apples, 60% for large green apples, and 80% for small green apples.
