Analisa Pengaruh Pendinginan Mesin Las Titik Terhadap Sifat Mekanis BJLS Galvalum
Resistance Spot welding is widely used in plate grafting techniques with a certain thickness and
widely applied for the manufacture of filling cabinets, bookshelves, and so forth. Problems that occur at
the point welding machine, such as the engine is less than optimal when overheating and for materials
with certain alloys can not be done welding. This research is aimed to get the result of suitable welding
joint, obtained by machine optimation, and can understand the influence of cooling system at point
welding machine. This research method is true experimental research, Variable Research consists;
Cooling pressure free pressure variable at 10 Psi, 20 Psi, and 30 Psi. Variable bound to strong welding
current 8 and resistance 4. Control variables BJLS Galvalum plate thickness 0.4 mm. Tensile Testing and
Shear testing using Universal Testing Machine (UTM WDW-20). and one way Anova statistical approach
was analyzed. The results show that the increase in cooling flow pressure increases the tensile shear
strength of spot welds. This indicates that the higher the cooling flow the spot welding machine DN-25
the more effective work as well as BJLS Galvalum material increasingly has high tensile shear strength.
Anova analysis showed that cooling flow pressure had significant effect on shear tensile strength with 95
percent confidence level.
