Abstract

The objective of this research are to describe, explain and to test the rail way sleeper using plastic waste
raw material. The research variables are the dimension of plastic railway sleeper and field test. This
research applies a qualitative and quantitative approaches. The finding of this research reveals isĀ  there
is no cracking, shrinkage, water absorption, and fibre in plastic railway sleeper and the sleeper flexible is
good, also flexural test is 16,33 MPa, torsion test is 45 CN m, tensile strength is 0,5041 N/mm2, and shrinkage test is 85% with temperature 110 C.
