Pengaruh Intensitas Cahaya Matahari Terhadap Output Tegangan Solarcell Pengisi Baterai Kendaraan Listrik
Abstract
The reduced reserve of fuel oil encourages people to create any machine with alternative energy,
such as the development of electric vehicles. The problem is, electric vehicles that have been developed
still have weaknesses, for example requires a lot of batteries, no charging system, and relatively expensive.
The research purpose to make electric vehicle charging system using solar cell. The charging system is
designed using batteries and 10 WP and 20 WP Solar Cell as a voltage generator. The results showed that
the highest voltage produced by 10WP Solar Cell on the day to 1 hour 10.00 AM resulted in the highest
voltage of 14.3 V with the sunlight intensity of 90000 LUX, while on the second day, the high intensity of
104000 LUX only produce voltage 12.9 V at 08.00 AM. The highest voltage 20WP Solar Cell on day 1 is
18.9 V at 08.00 AM with the sunlight intensity of 73000 LUX. The highest of sunlight intensity on day 3,
with a value of 102500 LUX at 12.00 AM only produces a voltage of 16.6 V. The conclusion that the
highest intensity of sunlight does not always produce the highest output voltage.
