Pengaruh Kenaikan Tinggi Muka Air Terhadap Perubahan Debit pada Bendung Gerigi

Abstract

 Weir is a water building built across the river to raise the water level to get the desired high to
flow gravity. Based on its spillway, weir is divided into three groups. One of them is a jigsaw weir. It has
a shape that resembles a saw with a curved shape leads to the horizontal direction. In this study, the
shape of the curve was turned to the vertical direction. At the next, this shape will be mentioned as
Gerigi Weir. In this study, the number of teeth is made various between two to four. This preliminary
study examined the effect of water level rising. As a comparison, it is used sharp crested weir. The design
of the weirs are made of steel plate and aluminium. The research was conducted at Hydraulics
Laboratory by utilizing open channel model. The experiments were conducted in different discharge
values, but with a fixed slope of 5 ‰. Generally, from the result shows that the water level rising on the
Bendung Gerigi similar to sharp crested weir. From the three types of Gerigi Weir, the number of two
teeth is the nearest with sharp crested weir.
